If additional weatherproofing is required, it can be obtained with
appropriate adhesive tapes wrapped around the cable/connector interface.
EUPEN supplies a weatherproofing tape kit for additional protection of
connector, cable and jumper interfaces. The tape kit includes
self-fusing butyl tape (65 mm x 2 m) and black PVC tape (25 mm x 10 m).
